DESCRIPTION:Washington State Group Knockout Tourney\, Open to All\, All Ages\, 64 limit\nTo enable players to watch the Women’s State Championships while competing in their own tournament\, we’re hosting a co-located group knockout tournament that is open to all.\nRegister and pay Entry Fee ($10) by 2:45pm. Doors open Noon.\nThis tournament will begin at approximately 3:00pm\, after the quarter finals (round of 😎 of the women’s state championships begins.\nPlayers can practice on machines (pay-for-play) prior to the start of the tournament. However\, all players are asked to immediately give up their game if there is a women’s state championship match waiting on that particular machine.\nEach round\, players will be grouped into 4-player games (possibly some 3-player games). This will be a progressive knockout tournament with strikes assigned as 0-1-2-3 in a 4-player game and 0-1-2 in a 3-player game. Rounds will alternate between Modern machines and Classic machines.\nWith 20 or less players\, there will be 12 strikes total\, with 20-40 players there will be 11 strikes total and with 41+ players there will be 10 strikes

Ties that affect seeding only will be broken randomly. With 20 or less players\, top 4 move on straight to finals.\nSemi-finals played as two groups of four\, each group playing three games (2 classics and 1 modern)\, with 4-2-1-0 scoring. The two players with most points move on. In case of a tie to move on\, there will be a one-game tie-breaker among tied players on the 1st machine of the players’ bank in this round.\nFinals is again played as three games (2 classics and 1 modern) with 4-2-1-0 scoring. A tie-breaker game is played among tied players to break any tie for the top 4 positions on the 1st machine of the players’ bank in this round.

DESCRIPTION:Seattle Pinball Services hosts tournaments that award tons of IFPA points every first Sunday of the month. There are a variety of formats with the main continuing features being that they begin registration at 1pm\, have a limited number of players (usually around 64)\, and a start time of 1:30 sharp.\nThat may sound like a lot of players but these tournaments sometimes sell out so it’s a good idea to show up early because there’s no pre registrations.\nIf you enjoy fun and competive pinball this is the tournament for you!\n$10 entry.

Join us for FIVE separate pinball tournaments from October 23rd to 26th at Ice Box Arcade and 4Bs Tavern in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.\n\n\n– Two open division tournaments\n– Three women’s division tournaments\n– Karaoke and costume contest after party at 4Bs Tavern\n– Series standings with cash prize for series champion – *see details below*\n– Pre-registration sale September 6th at noon PST\, with a discount package option\n– Fantastic venues with stellar support: Ice Box Arcade and 4Bs Tavern – thanks Danielle Sea and Alex Singleterry for supporting SW2!!\n– Returning TD Team: Ashley Weaver\, Erin Malysa\, and Leslie Ruckman.\n\n\nStay tuned to South Sound Pinball’s Facebook page for pre-reg and pricing info!\n\n\nThe weekend will open Thursday with qualifying for our main event: the WHBG (Women’s Hybrid Best Game) – stay tuned to South Sound Pinball for the full qualifying schedule\, which runs every day Thursday to Sunday. Once we start flipping we don’t stop all weekend!\n\n\nThursday night is our Scary Spooky Timed Matchplay: this women only tourney will have a charity element! Buy augmentation spells to affect the tournament in your favor! There will be three spells for sale\, priced at $5 each. Half will go into the pot\, half to our chosen charity. Join Max Stewart and the SW2 team for a special edition of the Ice Box Friday Night! This tournament is open to all genders\, as always. However\, there will be a special SW2 prize for this Friday winner!\n\n\nSaturday is the big day: more WHBG qualifying\, Women’s Classics Matchplay qualifying and elimination style finals\, AND\, last but certainly not least\, our costume contest karaoke after party\, held at 4Bs Tavern! Saturday’s pinball may be Women’s Division\, but we’re coming together for this after party y’all!!! There will be trophies for a few different costume categories\, to be announced at a later date\, and we are really looking forward to seeing you sing your favorite spooky songs dressed as your favorite spooky characters! We hope you can join the SW2 team while we celebrate the weekend!\n\n\nWomen’s Classics MP IFPA Listing: https://www.ifpapinball.com/tournaments/view.php?t=100481\n\n\nSunday brings a little more seriousness back into the SW2 mix – we’ve got finals\, and there’s three of them! DUN DUN DUN!! WHBG qualifying ends and we dive right into A Division Finals. After round one\, we will throw B Division finalists in there with ‘em. More finals you say? No problem\, let’s do C Division as well! They’ll start at the beginning of A Div round three. If you really still haven’t had enough pinball after WHBG\, and let’s be real\, there’s never enough pinball\, we’ve got our signature SW2 Revenge Knockout happening at 4Bs late afternoon. We invite the guys to come play some pinball with us while we wind down the weekend. Once the Series standings are settled we will award the weekend champion their prize (if they aren’t present they’ll get it later\, no worries.)\n\n\nRevenge Knockout IFPA Listing: https://www.ifpapinball.com/tournaments/view.php?t=100482\n\n\nMonday October 28th: the SW2 team will be recovering!!\n\n\n*Series details*: Four of the five tourneys will have a small rake removed from the pot\, 5% or $25\, whichever is smaller. The top three results will count towards your Series standing. The top player in the series standing will receive the entire pot – if there is a tie\, the players will play a random game at 4Bs to determine the winner.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
