Wednesday April 26th is the first Belles of the Silver Ball at the Waterland Arcade in Des Moines
The Belles of the Silver Ball is a womxn-only tournament which will take place the last Wednesday of the month beginning in April. Like other local womxn-only events, Cis, trans, NB, and female identifying people are welcome, but with a twist since Waterland is always all-ages! Another twist will be the rotating formats at BotSB; this first one will be Fair Strikes Group Knockout but you’ll need to keep an eye on their Facebook event page to find out what the other month’s formats are. We’ll try to post them here as well. April 26, 7:30 start time, $5
The first satellite tournament in kitsap co happens at the Bremerton castle on Sunday April 23rd
Kitsap Co. players will have their first chance to win passes to the NW Pinball & Arcade Show without taking the ferry or doing the long drive around the Sound. Much like the regular Sunday night weekly tournament, this satellite event will have a 3-strike format, but with passes and other prizes for the winners. If you haven’t been to Another Castle Bremerton in a while this will be a fun reason to change that. Tournament starts at 7pm sharp, $10, 54 player max, 21+
It’s already April 20th and means it’s time for the annual 4/20 tournament at add-a-ball amusements!
While the tournament begins at 5pm you should get there early for the breaking of the glass ceremony – or some kind of ceremony anyways? Naturally this will happen at 4:20 – PM. Entry comes with a special shirt which is also a good reason to show up early if you need or want an uncommon size. Winner takes home a pinball machine! This Particular satellite tournament is for people who have an IPR of 4 or less
Viking Fights happens on April 20th at Olaf’s in Ballard and is restricted to players with an Individual Player Rating of 4 or less. AARP aka “the Association of Almost Retired Pinballers” is happening on Saturday april 22nd at Add-a-Ball
This annual tournament is restricted to those ages 40 and over and it’s always a good time. It’s also Claire’s birthday tournament so say something nice to her (at least!) Start time is 3pm. 40+
Dan Halligan is hosting the next repair party in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle on April 22nd.
This is part of an on going series of events leading up to the NW Pinball & Arcade Show. If you are volunteering games bring them, as well as boards and monitors to work on and/or get help fixing them. The Kitsap Monthly Matchplay tournament was cancelled and then back on – all on the same day
When regular host Neil had to unexpectedly cancel this month’s tournament, Tik Tok’s Workshop owner Richard Godwin stepped up to the plate and decided to host the tournament himself. Everything will apparently stay the same: Sign ups begin at 2, tourney starts at 2:30, $5 entry fee, 21+ and a $200 pot splash. April 22 on our calendar!

(From Ashley Weaver’s Facebook post:) Seattle Women’s Super Weekend and SW2 Fair Strikes need volunteers! Anyone who works a two hour volunteer shift will receive a slice of pizza and a soda courtesy of Georgetown Pizza and Arcade!

You’ll see in the schedules below that I want men to volunteer for Saturday’s time slots! This is so women can have that time free to play in the Fair Strikes that starts at 2pm that day. Thanks in advance for supporting Seattle women’s pinball gentlemen! Women are welcome to these volunteer spots, but know that Saturday volunteer responsibilities will prevent you from playing in the Fair Strikes tourney. Scorekeeping duties include monitoring the Best Game bank and recording the scores that participants put up, and if a TD is needed for a ruling the scorekeeper will fetch them. The Best Game bank IS OPEN during the Fair Strikes tourney. TD duties are mostly restricted to the Best Game tourney – you will sit at the front desk and take entry fees, keep re-buy records, and make rulings if needed. Please have a cursory knowledge of PAPA/IFPA rulings if signing up for this responsibility. The TD slot on Sunday from 2-4 is an important one – this TD will be helping Erin and I set up the finals for the Best Game tournament. If both Erin and I make the finals, I would appreciate this person sticking around until we get the first round of finals going.
