If you are sober, sober curious, or just feel like hanging out without alcohol being a central component, then this is the tournament for you. Sobriety is encouraged, but drinkers are still welcome. Sunday December 10th at the Ice Box, $5, all-ages: Sign-ups at 3:00, tournament to start 3:30
This month’s Babes in Pinland tournament has two unique features: the (annual?) Snow Ball Winter Formal and a 1972 Gottlieb Wild Life pinball machine as the grand prize! Babes is a monthly pinball tournament for womxn (cis, trans, NB, etc) and held monthly at Add-a-Ball. Registration opens at 7:30pm, and the tournament begins at 8 sharp – they anticipate a big turnout, so please plan accordingly (and don’t forget to get dressed up). $5, 21+
The Party will begin with cake and ice cream at 6 with a “friendly tournament” hosted by Ashley Weaver starting at 7:30. $10
This will be a high score tournament at three different locations: Just The Tap, Shorty’s and Jupiter. High scores at each location have mini prizes with a grand prize awarded at the end of the night. No entry fee. November 22, 7pm at Just The Tap, 9 at Shorty’s, 11 at Jupiter.
The Sunday tournament at Crave 80s in Marysville will begin at 2pm this week as they play around with the start times to see what works best.
Join the Seattle Pinball League on November 18th when they hold their monthly event at the NWPC’s The Sanctuary of the Sliver Ball. The SPL is rarely held in a public location so this will be a good opportunity to check out both the League and the NW Pinball Collective, since you don’t need to be a member of either to attend. Doors open at noon. $15 entry fee, all-ages.
As usual Shorty’s will open an hour earlier at 11am for practice and registration and the tournament will begin at noon. Match play qualifying and head to head elimination finals – winner takes home a pinball machine! $20 to play, free to hang, raffles, 21+ – lots more info on our calendar.
