Anyone in the 32 players can win the event! \nThe event will now be held across multiple days\, qualifiers will run starting Friday March 3rd until Sunday 5th. Players will compete by playing on 6 machines\, with their top 2 scores per machines counting. Qualifying will be open:\nFriday 3rd: 5-11PM\nSaturday 4th: 1-11PM\nSunday 5th: 12-4PM \nTop 32 players at the end of the qualifiers will face off in a group matchplay finals. 4 players per group\, 3 games per round\, score 4/2/10\, top 2 players at the end of the round moves on. The players will have choices of a bank of 3 games. \nNo pre-registration again\, we are keeping it simple\, pay at the door\, first come first serve. DESCRIPTION:Waterland’s monthly matchplay pinball tournament will be held on the first Saturday of each month. It is sanctioned by the IFPA and awards world ranking points (WPPR).\nOVERVIEW\nThe buy-in is $5 per player. Waterland adds $25 to the pot to increase the prize pool! All of the pot will be paid out in prizes to the top 4 players.\nWaterland pays each player’s $1 IFPA fee\, so that the pot is not reduced.\nThe tournament is structured to achieve a TGP multiplier of 100% if at least eight players attend. If pre-registration overflows the 40 player maximum within 24 hours we will do a lottery for spots. If pre-registration has not reached the 40 player max after being open for 24 hours\, registration will be first come first serve. Tournament entry is $15 cash due the day of the event – $10 of that goes into the prize pot and $5 goes to food coverage. Any money leftover from food coverage will be donated to Seattle Area Feline Rescue (SAFeR).\nDo Not email to pre-reg until noon PST on 2/25/23! \nDoors open at 11:00 am for practice. Registration closes at 11:45am. Four hours of classics matchplay qualifying will begin at noon; a meal will be served upon completion of the qualifying rounds around 4:00 pm. Up to the top 16 (depending on turn out) will move on to a matchplay elimination style finals (three games per round) which will begin about 30 minutes after qualifying completion. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday March 26th at 3:00pm\, South Sound Pinball will host a max matchplay qualifier at 8-bit Arcade. Entry fee is $10. You do not need to be 21+ to enter\, but there is a chance that you could be removed from the finals on Tuesday (at 9:30pm when 8-bit becomes 21+). \nFinals for the top 16 (or 12 or 8 depending on turnout) will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30. There will be a casual side tourney during the Tuesday finals. Finals groups get game priority. Finals will be PAPA matchplay\, with the top two players in each group advancing after each round. If there are 12 players in the final\, the top 4 will recieve a bye through the first round. DESCRIPTION:The NWPAS Satellite Pinball Tournament Series is a promotional tour of local establishments in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. Registration closes approximately 10 minutes before listed time; earlier if it fills up.\nTonight: The qualifying round is a traditional match play tournament.\n• There will be 5 rounds of 4-player games (or some 3-player games if odd number of players).\n• Points will be earned per game based on IFPA Scoring.\n• Ties will be broken as described below. \nMatch Multi-Play Playoff Rounds:\n• With 46 or less players\, top 8 make semi-finals\, as two groups of 4 players. Top two of each group moves on to Finals.\n• With 47 or more players\, top 16 make semi-finals. Winner of each semi-final group move on to finals and win packages. 2nd in each group move to consolation finals to compete for remaining packages. In case of a 9th package being available\, multi-play consolation final will be among those who finish 3rd in each group (instead of 2nd) in semi-finals\, as everyone finishing 2nd will have also won packages.\n• Ties will be broken as described below.\n• Play proceeds similar to qualifying rounds\, except that there are 4 players on 4 machines.
