Richie Terry and Ashley Weaver are hosting a matchplay pre-tourney AND a pingolf extravaganza at Richie’s house in Kent\, WA\, from August 18th to 20th. We will be raising funds for the White Center Food Bank (WCFB) with a few fun charity elements at the event. There will be a silent auction featuring delicious bottles of Kansas City BBQ sauce\, all proceeds going to WCFB. \nPre-tourney Info:\nSign ups will open at 6:30pm\, and the tournament will begin at 7:00pm. Buy-in will be $10; $1 of that pays for IFPA-endorsement; $1 goes to beverages and snacks. Any leftover amenity money will be donated to charity.\nThe cap for the SSPC Pre-tourney is 48 players. The minimum number of participants for this tournament to take place is 16 players. Qualifying will be five rounds of matchplay with two games per round. The top eight players will move on to a multi-matchplay semi-final\, then the top four will play a multi-matchplay final. Each final round will consist of a bank of four games; the top seed will have bank or player order choice. You may sign up in groups of two people if you wish – so if one of you make it in both of you will. I will make another post with this info closer to the pre-reg date.
