All entry fees will be paid out as prizes. This event will be IFPA-sanctioned.\nThis tournament takes advantage of the new IFPA rule for 2023 which allows tournaments to be worth 150% of the 2022 max point value (WPPR) if the tournament includes enough meaningful games played.\nEven though you have the chance to earn big points in this tournament\, the time investment is reasonable. It is proportional to the number of WPPR points that you earn. If you do not qualify for the finals\, it will take you only 2 hours to play. DESCRIPTION:Waterland’s monthly matchplay pinball tournament will be held on the first Saturday of each month. It is sanctioned by the IFPA and awards world ranking points (WPPR).\nOVERVIEW\nThe buy-in is $5 per player. Waterland adds $25 to the pot to increase the prize pool! All of the pot will be paid out in prizes to the top 4 players.\nWaterland pays each player’s $1 IFPA fee\, so that the pot is not reduced.\nThe tournament is structured to achieve a TGP multiplier of 100% if at least eight players attend. If you are still tied\, a random SS game will be chosen by the TD.\nNo qualifying round will start after 9PM\, if only 4 rounds have been completed after 9PM\, we will go straight to playoff with 4 rounds in qualifier.\nFor the finals\, the banks will be assigned by the system however the players can chose order of play starting with the bighest seed and the group going down\, for all 3 games in that round.\nIf players are tied at the end of a playoff round\, the tie breaker will be decided by higher number of 1st place then 2nd\, 3rd and 4th in this playoff round. If players are still tied a full game tie breaker will be played on the “SS” game from their round bank.\nFor the final 4\, any tie breaker will be broken with a full game tie breaker that will be played on the “SS” game from their round bank.\nIf the playoff are starting after 10PM\, the playoff format will be modified such as the top 16 round will only have winner of each group of 4 going directly into the final top 4 round.\nEntry fee paid back in full as cash prizes to the top 16 players.\nThis tournament will follow official IFPA rules\, https://www.ifpapinball.com/rules/\nRunaway score rules may be used to keep tournament on time (http://nwpas.wapinball.net/matchplay.html)
