DESCRIPTION:This year there will be TWO MASSIVE IFPA CERTIFIED+ events (potential 300% total value)\, part of 5 total IFPA events across the weekend.\nThe NWPC will also continue to be part of the Stern Pro Circuit\nhttps://sternpinball.com/stern-pro-circuit/\n2023 updated changes:\nNew schedule for events\, please refer to the website scheduling page for latest details.\nMORE FINALIST for the OPEN event with TOP 40 making the finals.\nMORE FINALIST for the CLASSIC event with TOP 24 making the finals.\nHIGH STAKE event is now limited to 80 players to TOP 8 making finals.\nDetails:\nNW Pinball Championships 2023\nSeptember 8th to 10th (Qualifying Fri noon-midnight / Sat 10am-midnight\, Finals Saturday for Women’s and Classic\, Sunday for Open and High stake tournaments)\nRegistration (limited to 140 players max) will open on 6/8 at Noon PST on the website.\n100% of the tournament tickets/cards money is paid back to the players as prizes\, topped with generous contributions from our sponsors. All this thanks for our partnership with GeekGamer.TV\nThe Northwest Pinball Championships is open to players of all skill levels and ages. It is a multi-day qualifying tournament followed by a day of finals. During qualifying on Friday and Saturday players purchase cards for OPEN/HIGH STAKE (5 games per card)\, WOMEN (4 games per card) or individual tickets for CLASSICS to play on the tournament machines. Players may purchase as many cards or tickets as they like but there will be lots of opportunities for free tickets (Volunteering\, pre-tournaments…).\nTo help cover the location rental cost there will be a $30 registration fee\, which will includes 5 free tickets for the Classics division.\nOPEN/AMATEUR division cards (5 games per card) will be 1 for $20.\nCLASSICS/AMATEUR division individual tickets (1 game per ticket) will be 1 ticket = $5\, 5 tickets = $20\, 10 tickets = $40\nWOMEN’S division cards (4 games per card) will be 1 for $15.\nHIGH STAKE division cards (5 games per card) will be 1 for $30.\nThe SUNDAY CONSOLATION event will be a Group 3 strike classic revenge tournament\, limited to 40 players. $10 sign up\, anyone is welcome (registered for NWPC main event or not)\, registration open at 10:30AM (first come first served)\, trophy for winner\, pay out to top 4.\nCombo #1 – 1 Open Cards\, 5 Classics entries\, and 1 High Stakes Card for $60.\nCombo #2 – 2 Open Cards\, 15 Classics entries\, and 2 High Stakes Card for $140.\nEach player’s best score on each machine is tracked in a computer and those scores are ranked against all the other competitor’s scores on that machine. Players then receive an aggregate of their machine rankings (on a card or through all their best individual tickets) to determine their overall qualifying position in their division.\nAnyone making it to a final on Sunday will get cash prizes! DESCRIPTION:2024 UPDATE: Pinball is now free play at Waterland Arcade with admission. Admission is normally $15 but for tournament players it will be discounted to $10\, and this replaces coin drop no quarters necessary leave them at home.\nPlayers pay $5 buy in which goes to the pot like normal.\n…\nPlease come and join us for the “Pinbrawl on the Waterfront” tournament\, at Waterland Arcade near the waterfront in Des Moines\, on the 2nd Saturday of each month!\nRegistration will open at 7pm\, with the tournament beginning at 7:30 p.m. The entry fee is $15 (includes $10 to Waterland for unlimited pinball play and $5 to the pot)\, with a $50 pot splash from Waterland Arcade. All entry fees + pot splash paid out as prizes to the top 3.\n$50 pot splash by Waterland Arcade. $100 for 20\, $150 for 25 players!\nWaterland pays player IFPA fee.\nThis tournament will use one of 6 different formats.
