DESCRIPTION:Do you have a kiddo in your family that is a pinball fanatic? Do you want to?? Come join in at the Waterland Arcade for “Pinheads: The Next Generation\,” youth tournaments! \nMeet friends\, learn some new skills\, and practice good sportsmanship! Tournaments will occur on the second Saturday of each month. \nBefore the tournament begins\, there will be a small presentation on how the tournaments work; standard pinball terms\, sportsmanship\, and maybe a few tips on how to play your best game. \nThis event will be Junior IFPA sanctioned! Players will earn World Pinball Player Ranking (WPPR) points which will be reported on the ifpapinball.com web site. \nThe entry fee is $2 per player\, with CASH prizes for the top 3 players.\nThe prize pool will include 100% of the entry fees\, plus $15 extra contributed by Waterland Arcade.\nSignups open at 2 pm\, flippers up at 2:30pm.\n-17 and under only\n– 3 strike knockout (everyone will play in at least 3 rounds)\n– one-on-one\, 2-player games\nMore tournament rules: https://www.facebook.com/events/958615998627540/958616011960872

DESCRIPTION:2024 UPDATE: Pinball is now free play at Waterland Arcade with admission. Admission is normally $15 but for tournament players it will be discounted to $10\, and this replaces coin drop no quarters necessary leave them at home.\nPlayers pay $5 buy in which goes to the pot like normal.\n…\nPlease come and join us for the “Pinbrawl on the Waterfront” tournament\, at Waterland Arcade near the waterfront in Des Moines\, on the 2nd Saturday of each month!\nRegistration will open at 7pm\, with the tournament beginning at 7:30 p.m. The entry fee is $15 (includes $10 to Waterland for unlimited pinball play and $5 to the pot)\, with a $50 pot splash from Waterland Arcade. All entry fees + pot splash paid out as prizes to the top 3.\n$50 pot splash by Waterland Arcade. $100 for 20\, $150 for 25 players!\nWaterland pays player IFPA fee.\nThis tournament will use one of 6 different formats.
