DESCRIPTION:The Ice Box Winter Open is an all ages\, multi-day pinball tournament featuring pin-golf qualifying and a fair strike group knockout final.\nSignups will open on Tuesday\, January 3\, 2023.\nSign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQhh0xvx4xvir6_i4NzrMMVWQC0uzrg0oO8Ytbpn6j1B0dew/viewform\nThe entry fee is $10. All entry fees will be paid out as prizes. This event will be IFPA-sanctioned.\nThis tournament takes advantage of the new IFPA rule for 2023 which allows tournaments to be worth 150% of the 2022 max point value (WPPR) if the tournament includes enough meaningful games played.\nEven though you have the chance to earn big points in this tournament\, the time investment is reasonable. It is proportional to the number of WPPR points that you earn. If you do not qualify for the finals\, it will take you only 2 hours to play. For those who do qualify for finals\, finals will take an additional 3 to 6 hours depending on how well you play.\nWHEN\nQualifying rounds will be held on (choose one time slot\, max 9 players per time slot):\n* Monday\, January 30: 4pm\, 5pm\, 6pm\, 7pm\, 8pm\, 9pm\n* Thursday\, February 2nd: 6pm\, 7pm\, 8pm\, 9pm\n* Saturday\, February 4th: 10am\, 11am (the Saturday qualifying slots will initially be reserved for players coming from out of the area)\nFinals will be held on February 4th\, starting at 2pm.\nEach player only needs to attend a single qualifying event\, which should take 2 hours or less for each player to complete.\nMore details: https://www.facebook.com/events/1037066604359369
