DESCRIPTION:Emerald City Champ 2023\, NEW FORMAT\, MULTIDAY QUALIFIERS\, TOP 32 Sunday finals\, 250% IFPA VALUE! \nWelcome Back to Emerald City Cup\, for the 7th edition\, aligned with IFPA changes for 2023 we are changing our format\, potential 116 WPPR points for 1st place (based on 2022 numbers with new format). \nTaken into account previous event feedback\, we will now have one final\, with 32 players (with 64 or more players else 24 players finals). Anyone in the 32 players can win the event! \nThe event will now be held across multiple days\, qualifiers will run starting Friday March 3rd until Sunday 5th. Players will compete by playing on 6 machines\, with their top 2 scores per machines counting. Qualifying will be open:\nFriday 3rd: 5-11PM\nSaturday 4th: 1-11PM\nSunday 5th: 12-4PM \nTop 32 players at the end of the qualifiers will face off in a group matchplay finals. 4 players per group\, 3 games per round\, score 4/2/10\, top 2 players at the end of the round moves on. The players will have choices of a bank of 3 games. \nNo pre-registration again\, we are keeping it simple\, pay at the door\, first come first serve. If still tied\, a one-game tie-breaker will be played.\nFor the finals top seed of group (based on qualifying seed) can chose bank of game or position.\nIf players are tied at the end of a playoff round\, the tie breaker will be decided by higher number of 1st place then 2nd\, 3rd and 4th in this playoff round. If players are still tied a full game tie breaker will be played on the “old” game from their round bank.\nFor the final 4\, any tie breaker will be broken with a full game tie breaker that will be played on the “old” game from their round bank.\nPlayoff rounds will begin immediately after qualifying end on Sunday around 4PM. SUMMARY:Waterland Monthly Double Matchplay
DESCRIPTION:Waterland’s monthly matchplay pinball tournament will be held on the first Saturday of each month. It is sanctioned by the IFPA and awards world ranking points (WPPR).\nOVERVIEW\nThe buy-in is $5 per player. Waterland adds $25 to the pot to increase the prize pool! All of the pot will be paid out in prizes to the top 4 players.\nWaterland pays each player’s $1 IFPA fee\, so that the pot is not reduced.\nThe tournament is structured to achieve a TGP multiplier of 100% if at least eight players attend. This produces the most IFPA world ranking points (WPPR) possible\, given the field of players who attend.\nNOTE: If fewer than 8 players sign-up\, we will play a casual (non-IFPA) tournament using the players’ choice of format.
