DESCRIPTION:Come test your skill (and luck): play 10 frames (or more if you rack up those strikes on last game!) for a chance to win the prize money. \nThis is also a great format for those with friends/SOs interested in pins but without the daunting knock out rounds. \nIt’s only a 2 dollar buy-in! Guarenteed 10 games\, and top 3 payouts to 1st\, 2nd and 3rd. Sign-ups around 8:30\, start at 9pm. If you can’t make it by 9? That’s ok\, because its at your own pace (cut off at 9:30). \nMore details on the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/120049328666065 \n(Pinbowling rules are below) \nNote: this takes the place of the regular Friday night tournament at Bad Jimmy’s. \n \nPinbowling Rules: \nThere are 10 frames. You can play the “frames” in any order you like\, but to keep it fair\, games are scored in the order they are on the score sheets. There is a target score for each game located on your score sheet. \nFor a 3 ball machine\, if you reach the target score on your first ball\, that is a strike(X). Reaching the target score on ball 2 is a spare (/). Reaching the target score on ball 3 is only 10 points. If you do not reach the target score\, take your total score and divide by the “per pin score” (10% of the target score). That will give you the number of “pins” you knocked down. Scores are rounded down to prevent “almost strikes/spares”. \nFor a 5 ball game balls 1 and 2 are strike opportunities\, balls 3 and 4 are spare opportunities\, and ball 5 is your last chance to get 10 points. \nNo extra balls played.\nNo need to record each balls “pins knocked down” \nIf you would like to\, you are more than welcome to play the rest of your regular balls once you reach the target\, but please note the strike or spare in frame total using an “X” or “/” and record your total score (first 4 digits is fine). \nTo add your points: a strike is 10+ your next 2 frames. A spare is 10+ your next frame. Please score as you go\, and if you need help\, please let me know. \nIf you get a strike in your 10th frame\, you will play 2 additional games on 2 different machines. If you get a spare in your 10th frame\, you will play 1 additional game on 1 machine. \nClarifications:\n“Score” is the actual amount you put up on the machine.\n“Points” are what you are awarded per frame in the amount of “pins knocked down”\, i.e\, X\,/\, 10\, 9…2..etc.\n“Frame” is one machine. \nIf your EB plunge puts you at or over the target score\, you may count that for whichever ball you had just played.
